Dog Boarding (the Way It Should Be) in Oxford, MI

At Oxford Canine Club, we do dog boarding a little differently. That’s because we truly know what works best for dogs, consider each one as an individual, and create a boarding package that includes all the activities and services they need to be happy with us. Our team can take the time that is needed to evaluate your pet, learn about their likes and dislikes, and get a feel for their personality. Knowing them better and giving them time to get to know us will go a long way towards making their boarding stay that much more fun.

What if My Pet Needs Medical Attention?

Oxford Canine Club is conveniently located just next door to Bell Veterinary Clinic. If your canine ever needs medical care of any kind during their boarding stay, we can have them seen by a licensed veterinarian as soon as possible.

Additionally, if we find that your pet is overdue for some important vaccines or their intestinal parasite test, we can update them for you.

Features of Our Dog Boarding Facility

Boarding should not be about simply keeping your pup comfortable and adequately fed until you return. They deserve much more than that, which is why we:

  • Highly recommend at least one playtime session/ playtime package during their boarding stay
  • Offer group play sessions for social dogs
  • Maintain climate-controlled indoor and outdoor dog runs
  • Allow items to be brought from home
  • Offer various engagement toys that dogs can enjoy in their downtime
  • Can include a house bath or oatmeal shampoo bath during your pup’s boarding stay, or prior to going home
  • Guarantee that ALL of our guests get their daily dose of attention from our canine-loving team

Health Requirements for the Safety of Our Guests

All dogs should be up-to-date with their vaccinations. This includes rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella (kennel cough). They also need to be free of any fleas or intestinal parasites, and be current with their monthly parasite preventatives.

If necessary, dogs who are overdue for their vaccines or intestinal parasite test can have them updated at Bell Veterinary Clinic next door. Be sure to let us know if your canine is overdue!
