Boarding Policy Health Requirements for Boarding, Daycare, & Daycamp
We want to make sure your animal companion stays healthy no matter where they are, so we are following updated veterinary guidelines to ensure they're living their best lives as long as pawssible.
Effective 7/10/2023, Oxford Canine Club is putting the following guidelines into effect to ensure the safety, and wellness of our pet guests within our facility. Please note, that if your pet needs these vaccinations, preventatives, or tests, Oxford Canine Club can accommodate your pet's needs.
- Flea & Tick Prevention

- Leptospirosis is a bacteria that can be transmitted to other pets, people, & contaminate environments through contact with urine of infected pets.

- Distemper is a virus and is primarily transmitted through the respiratory secretions of an infected animal.
- Rabies Vaccine
- Rabies is a virus and is transmitted through the saliva of an infected animal, usually through a bite.

Your pet must also need to have tested negative for intestinal parasites within the last 6 months. Verification of the vaccinations and/or negative parasite test within a 6 month period may be requested prior to boarding your pet.
A zoonotic disease, also known as zoonosis, is a type of infectious disease that can be transmitted from your pet to your family. These diseases are caused by pathogens such as viruses, bacteria, fungi, and parasites that can be found in animals, many of which show no outward signs.
If your pet is due for their vaccinations or intestinal parasite test, you can contact our Oxford Canine Club.
If your pet is not a current patient Oxford Canine Club, please provide us with a copy of your pet’s most recent medical records so we can verify that they are up-to-date.
